Increase in credit card payment fee

As of 14 December 2009 the fee payable when tax is paid over the telephone by credit card increases to 1.25% from 0.91%. The relevant legislation is the Taxes, etc (fees for payment by telephone) Regulations 2009 (SI 2009 no. 3073).
