For the first time ever the annual uprating of compensation limits has resulted in two key rates dropping:
- The annual limit on compensation for unfair dismissal will drop to £65,300 from £66,200 from 1 February 2010, and
- From the same date guarantee pay (payable to those who are laid off) drops to £21.20 per day from £21.50
As had already been announced the value of a week’s pay used in redundancy calculations remains at £380 per week until 1 February 2011. The full list of limits, including those that are unaltered, can be seen within the
